RETAIN YOUR YOUTHFUL RADIANCE WITH DERMAL FILLERS
What are Dermal Fillers?
Available at our Cheshire clinic, dermal fillers are injectable substances intended to restore volume, smooth wrinkles, and enhance facial contours, all contributing to a rejuvenated and uplifted appearance.
These fillers are composed of various materials, such as hyaluronic acid, calcium hydroxylapatite, poly-L-lactic acid, or polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA). The fillers are injected beneath the skin to add volume, fill wrinkles and lines, and sculpt specific areas of the face.
For residents in Cheshire and nearby regions, fillers can address concerns like nasolabial folds (smile lines), marionette lines, thin lips, hollow cheeks, and under-eye bags. Dermal fillers offer a sought-after non-surgical alternative for those aiming to refresh their looks and attain a more youthful appearance without resorting to invasive procedures.

WHAT AREAS CAN BE TREATED WITH DERMAL FILLER?
TEAR TROUGH DERMAL FILLER
CHEEK AUGMENTATION
Lip augmentation
Rachael looks fresher and less tired due to having a few “tweakments”
💉tear trough filler
💉cheek augmentation to support the tear troughs.
💉 lip augmentation to add volume
These are subtle changes but make such a difference!
Tear troughs are one of the areas of the face that shows early signs of ageing due to the thinness of the skin.
It’s important when treating the tear troughs that we also consider the overall facial balance and volume.
MID FACE
VOLUME LOSS
Combined with the fact that facial fat shifts and declines as we age, the loss of collagen and fat can make a face appear aged. Facial volume loss happens when the face fat that was once evenly distributed around the eyes, cheeks, forehead, temples, and mouth shifts and diminishes.
Luckily we can help boost volume with the use of dermal filler
Here, Alison had 3mls of Dermal Filler to the Mid Face to help with Volume Loss
DERMAL FILLER LIP AUGMENTATION
Fuller Lips are usually associated with youth.
As we age, the vermilion border becomes flatter and it doesn’t shape the lips as well. This can cause the lip to look thin and flaccid.
We can also develop “smokers lines”, which become more pronounced when we get older.
Injecting lips is difficult as you have to respect the natural proportions of the lip as well as maintain safety, all whilst performing to a level of artistry – done well, they can look absolutely beautiful.
Here I have used a 4mm needle as I have injected in the subcutaneous layer.
DERMAL FILLER Liquid Rhinoplasty
(NON SURGICAL)
This treatment is a non surgical alternative option to traditional rhinoplasty.
It’s used to temporarily address issues like a dorsal hump (small bump), a drooping nasal tip, and asymmetry.
With this procedure our experienced nurse injector, injects fillers into a patient’s nose to improve the contours and reshape it.
The procedure offers low down time and minimal pain but life changing results.

FAQS ABOUT DERMAL FILLERS IN CHESHIRE
Are dermal fillers safe?
When administered by qualified and experienced professionals, dermal fillers are generally considered safe. At KPA, the safety of our patients is our top priority. We understand that dermal fillers can be a significant decision, so we offer a thorough consultation with our experienced professionals, Nurse Khatra and Dr Philippa. Located in Cheshire, they will carefully assess your specific concerns, discuss any potential risks, and address any questions you may have. This personalised approach ensures that we recommend the most suitable and safe option for you.
Are facial fillers painful?
The level of discomfort experienced during dermal filler injections can vary from person to person. However, most patients report minimal pain or discomfort during the procedure. Before the treatment, a topical numbing cream or local anaesthetic may be applied to the treatment area to enhance comfort. Additionally, many dermal fillers contain lidocaine, a numbing agent, which can further minimise any potential discomfort. Our skilled professionals at KPA in Cheshire are trained to administer the injections with precision and care to ensure a comfortable patient experience.
How long do dermal fillers last?
The longevity of dermal fillers can vary depending on several factors, including the type of filler used, the area treated, individual metabolism, and lifestyle factors. Generally, most dermal fillers can last anywhere from 6 months to 2 years. Hyaluronic acid fillers, commonly used, tend to provide results that last between 6 months to 1 year. Over time, the filler gradually breaks down and is naturally absorbed by the body. To maintain optimal results, follow-up treatments at our clinic in Cheshire may be recommended to replenish the filler as needed.
What if I don't like the results?
During your consultation in our clinic in Cheshire, we prioritise addressing your concerns and comprehensively understanding the expected outcomes of your dermal filler treatment. Our meticulous approach ensures that our patients are rarely surprised by the results, as we take great care throughout every stage of the dermal filler journey. However, if you are unsatisfied with the results, rest assured that options are available to address it. We can discuss the possibility of dissolving the filler, which can be done safely without causing any lasting damage or effects. Your satisfaction and well-being are our top priorities, and we are committed to finding the best solution for you.
How long does a dermal filler procedure take?
The duration of a dermal filler procedure depends on the specific area and type of treatment. Generally, the procedure can take 15 minutes to an hour at our clinic in Cheshire. However, it’s important to note that this time frame does not include the initial consultation and preparation, which may involve discussing your concerns, evaluating the treatment plan, and ensuring your comfort. The actual injection process is typically relatively quick, but the overall time commitment may also depend on your needs and the provider’s expertise. During your consultation, we can provide a more accurate estimate of the expected duration for your specific dermal filler treatment.
How long will it take to recover from a dermal filler treatment?
Downtime after a dermal filler treatment is generally minimal, and most individuals can resume their regular activities immediately afterwards. Some temporary side effects may be expected, for instance, redness, swelling, bruising, or tenderness at the injection site. However, these typically subside within a few days. In some cases, these effects may take up to a week to completely resolve.
To help facilitate a smooth recovery, it’s recommended to follow post-treatment instructions provided by your healthcare professional, which may include avoiding strenuous exercise, excessive sun exposure, and certain medications or supplements that can increase the risk of bruising. It’s important to note that individual recovery experiences may vary, so it’s best to consult your provider for personalised guidance based on your treatment.
